About Us
Siyaya Ventures started in September 1998 under the trading name TRISEC, we initially installed mainly small
industrial security systems including, security fencing, intercom and small PABX systems, CCTV,
fire detection, access control and intruder alarm systems. The company soon started to win major
security installations as well as security and game fencing contracts for both private and government concerns.
We established our own armed response company with a guarding division and our client based increased
dramatically. From a two man installation team we grew to a company well known and respected in the
Mpumalanga region doing work for people such as;
- South African National Parks & other fencing clients (Kruger, Golden Gate, Mapungubwe, Addo, Namaqua, Kgalagadi and Mountain Zebra National Parks)
- Correctional facilities (Mogwasi, Makhado, Potchefstroom, Upington and Kimberley)
- Golf courses with 358 type fencing at Reading (Alberton) and working at Eye of Africa (Vereeniging District)
- Civils companies such as Concor Roads, Basil Read, M&R and others
- Gidani (LOTTO operators in Midrand)
- 135Km Electrified Big Game Fencing at Dinokeng Game Reserve.
- Several security (CCTV, Access control & Intruder alarms etc.) type installations.
Our technical projects grew to the extent that we sold the armed response and guarding division
to Wolf Security based in Durban.
Our fencing division boomed and contracts were completed throughout South Africa. In excess of
4500Km of fencing of all types was erected over the next few years.
During 2002, we won the fencing tender of the Addo National Elephant Park and the head office
was moved to Port Elizabeth.
The company remained active in the northern parts of the Republic and formed a joint venture
with Siyaya Fencing for fencing work on the Platinum Toll road from Pretoria towards Warmbaths
and Lobatse on the Botswana border totalling in excess of 380Km of road side fencing.
During the project ties were formed with Mr. Linda Nyembe (Siyaya Holdings) and Siyaya
Business Ventures (PTY) LTD was formed based in Port Elizabeth. (Further on Siyaya Ventures.)
Several contracts was awarded to the company and was executed by Trisec on there behalf.
Relationships were strengthened and Siyaya Business Ventures (PTY) LTD acquired an 80%
share in the Trisec. It was furthermore decided that Trisec, a Closed Corporation, will be
changed to a company. The name chosen was Siyaya Ventures Eastern Cape PTY (LTD) and was
duly registered as such.
